My name is Jesse Yarvis. My parents were trades workers, my father was a mason and my mother was a painter. I grew up in construction. I learned various trades. I learned the meaning of 'hard work'. My parents eventually operated a small business and I would help, but eventually the 'economy monger' ate them up as it does, survival of the fittest, the big fish eating the small fish. But nonetheless I learned a lot. I believe in telling where you are from, so you can understand where you are going.

I left the trades and went into healthcare.

The journey continues. I was an employee for small, medium, and large businesses. All I would say have their pros and cons.

Eventually, following my parents so to speak, I started my business. Why?

That is the 'letter', or question that drives me. You can say I never grew up I guess, WHY? If you are a parent you are all too familiar with that 'letter'. It is asked as every new experience is presented, it is asked even more when engaging in observation, as children most times are. It is how we learn.

That's just it. Why. Why this. Why that. As an employee I would wonder WHY doesn't this employer just do this simple thing and save money and give me a better job, why!

As an employer I would ask why wouldn't this employee just do this simple thing and save me money and give me a better employee, I scream out again WHY!

I believe the world is made up of those who would like to go to work and then go home, and be a good employee. Then there is another, I would say more complex world, that is made up of employers who for some reason cannot simply be an employee. Both are needed and can coexist just fine, but from this point on, you may observe me from more of an employer than employee.

So, why Innovative?

I found myself juggling. I was managing my own businesses, as well as, several small to medium businesses. The ring tone was in my sleep. I enjoyed hard work, but I finally and at a financial risk took my eye off the ball, if you know how to juggle you know you look at the top ball and that is how it you keep it going, ball after ball. But if you juggle a long time, you start to move, you have to, you have to catch the next ball. But if you never look down, you don't know where you are going.

That's where I was. I was moving forward, despite a horrible economy, but it was not quite in the direction I wanted, so I took my eye off the ball and let my child out…WHY?

WHY?

I am smart, I am making money, my clients are happy, but no one including me is moving exactly in the direction we want. I understand evolving to meet the needs of your business, economy, employees and customers, but…. WHY?

I quickly noticed a trend. REPITITION…. REPITITION…. REPITITION…. REPITITION….

Every payroll, every month, every quarter, every year, licenses, renewals, PAPERWORK.

I was good, I was fully electronic, I was fast, I could juggle well, but eventually….PAPERWORK was my ball. Now the problem there is paperwork is not heavy, like a ball. It is impossible to juggle pieces of paper. They float around and if too many are in the air you are now running around catching the 'balls'.

Ah ha!

But how to fix it.? I can't just NOT renew my business license and insurance, etc. I had asked why now the next 3 letter question: HOW.

How do I fix this? There are laws, regulations, traditions, client requests, I can't just stop juggling and focus on what I want to.

Innovative is born. And let me tell you our baby innovative hit toddler, adolescence, adulthood, and was in the nursing home within months.

I could tell that the 'business system' didn't like our child. He was the ugly duck. He was designed to simplify, save, and grow. Innovative was giving employees what they want and employers were affording it!!!!!

That means all those hands reaching out at you employers weren't getting money put in them. Innovative was cutting out middle persons getting their cut. That's right, innovative went to the nursing home, left, worked out and we started fighting and now we got some muscles.

The concept was simple, since repetition was the problem, just wrap it all up into one. Ah, one or more less balls to juggle, no wait, I was just holding one ball and I can now watch where I am walking, in my direction. That's right, the ring tone dream vanished.

Innovative now believes in two things and we believe it benefits the employer and the employee:

Stability & Growth

Innovative thinks outside the box, we look for ways to save employers money, give them the resources to compete with the big boys and stabilize. Then we give them the tools and options at an affordable cost to grow. Now the employer is moving in their direction and the employee is working for a better stable company.

OK, a lot of talk, how about an example:
You are an employer. Your business makes money, when you work, and doesn't when you are at home crying about never having a vacation.

You need help. OK, fine, there's a little money, let's get some talent, the right person to help out and free you up. Let's say it's a non-professional, just a good, honest, hard working person. So 15 dollars per hour you feel you can get a responsible person to watch the keys and the money.

Oh wait; all the good people have jobs. Oh and they are making more than I have to offer. Benefits, what are those. NO, I just need a good reliable person, not even full time! OK, fine, full time with benefits. OOPS! 15 per hr x 2080 yearly hours x Worker's compensation x Payroll service x Accounting fees x Federal and State taxes x Unemployment tax, believe it or not approximately $40,560. We forgot health insurance and any overtime and vacation time. So many have died being penny wise and pound foolish, or we just didn't see all those hands reaching for their cut. Now you are still working so you can afford that help you got to help you not work. I was making a little extra, but after health insurance and extras I am paying fifty thousand bucks! There goes stability and growth, ok forget it your fired, now my unemployment tax goes up, they go tell all their friends not to work for me. The experience while logical: bad.

Well, do you give up yet?

Innovative to save the day:
Innovative has employees 'who' you are looking for. Innovative finds another 'you'. Innovative has the 'benefits'.

Now, you ask Innovative, I just need this superhero employee for 8 hours a week with full benefits and I need them loyal and I need to retain them!

Done. You get the help you need and at extremely lower costs than you could achieve alone.

ONE service we offer is that: staffing. But not at outrageous costs and not agency style, where the employee comes to work and makes sure you know they don't work for you!

No payroll cost, no accounting fees, no payroll returns, just a good employee in the amount that you need them, and despite the fact that their paystub says 'Innovative' they know they work for you, they go to your staff meetings, they answer to you, we don't manage them, and if you don't like their performance they lose their job, they work for you.

The employee loves it. Options are born; they have benefits, schedule options, loyal employers, a stable paycheck and possibility to grow.

Check out all our services, this is just one I mention, because it was one of the first Innovative services and it saves our clients THOUSANDS a year.

One 'small/medium' client saved $36,000.00 in employee benefits alone the first year he used us.

Now he could have grown, but instead treated himself to a BMW. Hey, it's your money spend it how you like. But he does continue to grow and enjoy his car.

I hope I didn't bore you, please check us out; one of the best things is that Innovative does not believe in tying you down with contracts. Most are month-to-month, so nothing to lose. We believe in our product, we believe you will stay.

Thanks for listening. Check out our blogs and idea galleries, ask questions, explore, contact us, it may change your life! It did mine. Now if I juggle, it's because I got my life back and my inner child got a chance to live and sometimes he likes the occasional juggling act, but not at the workplace, of course.
